at $1,000 per child under 17. It is non-refundable and will
only reduce taxes owed.
- Additional Child
Tax Credit allows you to receive a refund even if you don't
owe.
- Extention of 15^ rate for dividend
+ capital gains until 2010.
- New Energy Credits in 2006
and 2007 for homeowners that purchase skylights, outside doors,
windows, high efficiency furnaces, water heaters, etc.
- New home buyers will get deduction
for mortgage insurance premium.
- Homeowners get credit for heating/water
solar system excluding pool and hot tubs.
- Qualified businesses still
get 3% deduction for 2007.
- IRS is getting stricter! Every
deduction on your return must have check or receipt to back
it up.
- Maximum IRA contributions stays
at $5000 for everyone except those over 50.
- Sales Tax, College Tuition,
and Educator expenses are still deductible through 2007.
- Standard business milleage
increased to 48.5 cents per mile for 2007.
